FFA Business Accreditation

How can my business or organization achieve “FFA-Approved status”, and what are the criteria?
To earn the “FFA-Approved” designation, your business, gym, school, or organization must meet several key criteria demonstrating your commitment to family wellness. As you’ll see, many businesses may already qualify!

Each criterion should be addressed in some way.

Once approved, your entity may display the “FAA-Approved” official designation onsite, digitally, and through most methods of communication (website, letterhead, email, etc.). See below.

The criteria include:

  • Family-friendly programs promoting fitness, nutrition, and mental wellness.

  • Multi-generational participation opportunities.

  • Health habit-building avoiding unproven fitness trends.

  • Positive mental health practices.

  • Promotion of nutritious food options.

  • Avoidance of highly processed, sugary foods.

  • Encouragement of healthy hydration choices.

  • Programs accessible to all ability levels and ages.

  • Supportive, positive environment promoting fun and engagement.

  • Affordable or scholarship options for diverse family participation.

  • Hosting family-oriented wellness events and workshops.

  • Providing educational resources on physical and emotional health.

  • Supporting community wellness through schools, parks, or local centers.

  • Initiatives supporting employee wellness (e.g., fitness breaks, wellness programs).

  • Work-life balance and mental wellness encouragement.

  • Incentives or resources provided for healthy living.

  • No body-shaming or extreme fitness culture.

  • Promoting realistic, sustainable health habits.

  • Motivational, family-centered wellness messaging.

  • Public support of FFA’s values and mission.

  • Display of the “FFA-Approved” badge prominently.

  • Encouraging participation in FFA activities and initiatives.

Application Process

1. Complete the Application

Submit a detailed application outlining how your organization meets our seven core accreditation criteria.

2. Showcase Your Impact

Include examples of your wellness programs, community initiatives, or workplace health strategies that align with FFA’s mission.

3. Submit Payment

The initial application fee is $249 for review and approval. Once accredited, the annual renewal fee is just $99 to maintain your status and benefits.
